With the scientifically proven prevention program Papilio, the Oberbergischer Kreis, as part of the education network, works through the Education Office together with BARMER and other cooperation partners on an early and sustainable promotion of these competencies. The program starts early, strengthens children's personalities, and supports professionals in deliberately fostering developmental processes in everyday life. This creates good conditions for a successful educational journey and strong collaboration – from the very beginning.

The prevention program Papilio strengthens the socio-emotional development of children and supports pedagogical professionals in deliberately guiding children in their personal development. In the long term, all children in the Oberbergischer Kreis are intended to have comparable opportunities for a successful educational and life journey.
