Network Partners

In the Oberberg Education Network, many different partners work closely together to improve learning and educational paths for everyone involved.

These include, in addition to the state of North Rhine-Westphalia and all municipalities, schools, school authorities, school supervision, daycare centers, and the Oberberg district.

Other important stakeholders include universities and colleges, training and research institutions, as well as adult education institutions that contribute knowledge, research, and innovation.

In addition, parent associations, student representatives, and trade unions play a central role when it comes to needs, perspectives, and participation. Partnerships with businesses, chambers, associations, and independent organizations enable practical experience, career preparation, internships, and dual training opportunities. Last but not least, cultural institutions, extracurricular learning locations, clubs, youth work institutions, welfare and social associations, as well as foundations contribute to the holistic development of learners by expanding learning environments, promoting mental well-being, and supporting equality of opportunity.

Together, all network partners pursue the goal of promoting education, effectively pooling resources, driving innovation, and continuously aligning educational paths to the needs of both people and the region.

The diverse perspectives of network actors provide important impulses and balanced decision-making processes that take into account all needs and interests. This creates synergies and added value that a single network actor could not have achieved alone.

The collaboration is characterized by appreciation, openness, and a shared interest in further developing the Oberberg education location.
