Future Forge

The Future Forge at the Vocational College Hückeswagen is an innovative learning space for technology, digitalization, and modern manufacturing technologies. Here, students from grades 8 to 13 have the opportunity to learn about future technologies in a practical way, implement their own ideas, and further develop their technical skills.

The focus is on hands-on learning opportunities in topics such as robotics, 3D printing, virtual reality, digitalization, and automation. Participants develop creative solutions, work with modern technologies, and gain insights into current career fields in industry and crafts.

The Future Forge sees itself as a complement to school-based vocational orientation. In close collaboration with schools, companies, universities, and other partners, young people are supported in discovering their interests and talents and developing perspectives for training, studies, and careers in the STEM field.

With its offerings, the Future Forge is particularly aimed at students in grades 8 to 13. At the same time, it provides space for professional exchange and the development of innovative teaching and learning concepts in the technical field, thereby strengthening the network of education, science, and industry in the region.
