in a joint working group. Their goal is to sustainably shape the transition based on uniform standards. This ensures that children and their families receive the best possible support on their way to school. Especially during this critical learning phase, children and parents need reliable structures, guidance, and close collaboration among all involved actors. A coordinated approach builds confidence, strengthens trust, and lays the foundation for a successful start to school life.
The focus is on professional exchange, joint handling of current issues, and the development of practical solutions for a successful transition. The multidisciplinary working group offers space to share experiences, bring perspectives together, and jointly develop measures for quality improvement. This creates sustainable structures that benefit children, families, and educational institutions alike.
Currently, experts in early education are developing formats to support parents in fostering media literacy. An example of this is a joint parents' evening organized by the Oberberg Media Initiative with two primary schools and six kindergartens in Marienheide.
